Watercolor First Technique

This watercolor technique is such fun.  Watercolor with at least two colors first onto your watercolor paper.  Blend any harsh edges with your brush.  Use a design die of your choosing (i.e. Alte New Leaf Canopy) and your favorite cutting machine (Gemini Jr., in my case) 

followed by a little splash (Peter Pauper Press Watercolor kit).  I added a wonderful Alte New acetate butterfly for some extra delight.  Card base colors include Stampin' Up Island Indigo.
