Art Journaling creative action inspired by Getmessyart.com

I hadn't Art Journaled since 2017, and after watching the free videos from Getmessyart.com Getmessyart.com,
I felt like diving into it again and letting myself go.  I decided to paint a dark blue background with
Permanent blue watercolor paint to begin because I wanted to reflect the beauty of the moonlit skies seen on a trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico recently.  The moon has been significant the past few years to myself and my family in remembering those we love and it shone upon me so brightly one very cold night in Ruidoso, leaving the Spencer Theatre.  I wanted to use paper cuttings and a mountain picture from my Flow magazine:  The Book Lover's Paper Book, so I began with the partial circle shapes, the letters spelling January, and some beautiful, shaded greenery included on one of the pages.  The snow Thursday evening in Ruidoso was a surprise and the fluffy, huge flakes were never more beautiful.  I had some difficulty emulating the snowstorm but tried using my Unicorn ink spray, even though it tended to blob or spray where I didn't want it to go.  So, I improvised using every kind of mixed media product I have ever bought. Here are my somewhat overdone results:

I need more space on my February page.  We shall see what I come up with.  No matter the results, I absolutely love mixed media art journaling and plan to improve, as I reflect upon moments in my life.
